The false Doll looked to Billy's sleeping form, then back to Peter. Its thin fingers slipped around Ragdoll's wrist and brought them to the edge of the mask, then jerked Ragdoll's hand away again. Ragdoll's fingers never touched the mask itself, it could not rebel that much, but the implications would be given.
That done, the homunculus released Ragdoll's wrist and went back to staring at Billy. Its position would not change until it moved to wake him in the morning.
