don't be ashamed. we've all got them, characters we just...man. they're great. love them. chef's kiss. couldn't be more perfect. of course, we don't always have a reasonable excuse to tag them, and that doesn't quench our thirst.

so why wait for a reason? just admit to your character crush! whether they're a castmate, crosscanon who'd be a perfect fit, or a total rando that wouldn't meet your blorbo in a thousand years, there's no more need to vaguepost on rpanons about characters you wish would notice you.

tell us here. this? this is a judgement free zone. be as thirsty as you want on main. and maybe, just maybe, your prince/ss will come.

The Support Group Meme

Per Wikipedia:

In a support group, members provide each other with various types of help, usually nonprofessional and nonmaterial, for a particular shared, usually burdensome, characteristic. The help may take the form of providing and evaluating relevant information, relating personal experiences, listening to and accepting others' experiences, providing sympathetic understanding and establishing social networks. PROTECTOR/PROTECTED

There’s no real push to your actions; you do them as if they were second nature. Perhaps, initially, you were assigned this role, as protector and guardian of this person. Maybe you took it on because there was no one else. A natural guardian or not, good or evil, you caught a shining to them and felt…something. Something hard to explain, but you want to keep them safe and happy - or at the very least, content. No one is as dedicated to them as you. You want them to reach their goals; to help them achieve them, you'll do what you must, even if it means being their gofer or their right hand.

But most of all, you don't want them to end up like you. They're worth more than that.

Yet somehow, along the line, you became more to them, more than just their protector. You protect them anew and you've found a different way to make them happy. It's selfish, too, because you love them in your way and you want them more than anything. You may feel guilty, of course. They don't, though, and that's what matters.

Comment with your character, preferences, and what you'd prefer to play: protector or protected.
Remember, you don't have to be so rigid. A traditionally weak character can "protect" a traditionally strong one in emotional ways.

Simple question. Not a very simple thing to answer. Seeing as how many canons — from action to horror — deal with death in one way or another, it's a pretty reasonable thing to ask around these parts.

So, when posed with the question, could you take a life?, how does your character respond? Are they a cold, hard, remorseless killer, someone who's never even thought about murder until now, or something more complex?

No blank top-levels.

Instead, characters are to respond to the proposed question: could you take a life / could you kill someone?

We're asking for honesty here, but it's not as if we have fact-checkers waiting around. Lie if you want. We're not your parents.
